Abstract
Introduction
In the time of the millennial, the age of digital communication technologies
has created digital footprints that truly becomes integrated into people's daily lives.
That is, youths struggle to function without them. Educators can immerse students
in a continuous learning classroom where knowledge is power and the internet is its
guardian. In this regard, Olivarez College took the courage to shift the paradigm of
traditional learning in exposing students to digital and personalized instructions
where students are allowed to explore and to expand their talents and interests.
Blended learning became a part of the curriculum that provides alternate ways of
learning for students. This study aimed to determine the perception towards the use
of blended learning of Grade 11 HUMSS students in Olivarez College Tagaytay.
Methods
This study utilized quantitative descriptive research design. The respondents of the
study were the 346 Grade 11 HUMSS students of Olivarez College Tagaytay since
they represent the majority of students enrolled in the Senior High School
Department of Olivarez College Tagaytay. The researcher utilized a researcher
made questionnaire which underwent test of validity and reliability. Frequency,
percentage and weighted mean were used to analyze data.
