| Summary, etc. | ABSTRACT<br/>The study aimed to make an evaluation of pre-menstrual syndrome among the selected female students of Olivarez College-Tagaytay. With regards to the result of the study, the researchers would gratefully share the importance of the study to the respondents and to the society as a whole and most especially to all co-students. teachings that are related to PMS like the different techniques to alleviate the symptoms. 3. The respondents must be aware of the different ways to handle these symptoms as long as they really know what specific symptom they are actually experiencing. 4. Other people, especially the males should also understand the reason why females usually feel irritated and they always think that girls are always snobbed without knowing that they are actually feeling bad and irritated. So, they should understand them more and support their emotional needs. <br/>Abdominal pain is the most prominent physical symptom of PMS. 5. Proper management of this condition is the answer to this. If they are prepared and aware that they will experience this, they should do their school activities in advance so by the time PMS occurs, they are prepared and their studies would not be affected. They must be able to cope and do their school activities without being affected by PMS. They must know that PMS should not be a hindrance to their studies but rather a way to pursue their studies. If they experience this, they can use diversional activities such as actively participating or joining in sports group, social activities/ leisure or doing the things they enjoy the most. These could divert their attention and might somehow result into forgetting the pain or other symptoms of PMS. 6. Future researchers should make further studies about Pre-Menstrual Syndrome. They can expand this study and more therapeutic management will be discovered. They should also try making another evaluation in other places and with another set of female individuals. <br/> |
