Summary, etc. ABSTRACT :<br/>Objectives: This study aimed to: To know the perceptions on the proposed Reproductive Health Bill among residents of Brgy. Tubuan 1st Silang Cavite. To know if there is a significant relationship on the demographic profile with regards to the proposed Reproductive Health Bill. <br/>Methodology: This is a descriptive study. A descriptive study is used to observe, describe <br/>and document aspect of situation as it naturally occurs and sometimes to serve as <br/>a starting point for hypothesis generation or theory development. Often the purpose of survey is simply to determine how people feel about a particular issue. Other survey may attempt to find out the effect of some event on people's behavior. In addition, surveys provide an opportunity to examine correlation among the participant's responses and to look for possible pattern of <br/>cause and effect. (Sanchez, 2002) Findings: 1. On the profile of the respondents, the mean age of the respondents is 37.23 years old; mostly female and have attained moderate level of educational attainment. 2. On the perceptions of the respondents, the average weighted mean of 4.09 simply reveals that the respondents generally perceived that they agreed on the proposed Reproductive Health Bill based on the indicators cited in this study. 3. The average weighted mean of 3.73 simply reveals that the respondents generally agreed on the factors that can affect their perceptions on the proposed Reproductive Health Bill. Conclusion: The respondents utilized in this study are young adults, mostly female, which can also be considered as in the age of full maturity and have high level of sense of responsibility; that despite their educational attainment they have attained, it is enough to understand the endeavor of this study. The respondents generally perceived that they agreed on the proposed Reproductive Health Bill based on the indicators cited in this study; and that the respondents generally agreed on the factors that can affect their perceptions on the proposed Reproductive Health Bill. There is significant relationship between the respondents' demographic profile in terms of age and educational attainment and their perceptions on the proposed Reproductive Health Bill and the factors affecting it; the interest or level of awareness of the respondents utilized in this study depends on their level of maturity and level of acquired knowledge. Furthermore, the gender profile of the respondents has no significant bearing with their perceptions on the cited variables. This only means that gender is not a factor that could probably affects the perceptions of the respondents. Recommendations: Since the main concem of the proposed Reproductive Health Bill is the family, the researcher sind it necessary for the family members to be aware of the content of the said bill, regardless of their age, gender and educational attainment because the said bill will cover directly and indirectly every member of the family. Since the respondents generally agreed with the indicators of the cited bill and on the factors affect their perceptions, it is necessary for all the concern that they spare ample time to have in-depth study of its content. The researchers highly recommended an intensive information campaign with regards to the content of the proposed Reproductive Health Bill; the information campaign shall be formulated as applicable to cach age bracket and/or educational attainment so that the people will not misinterpret the content of the cited bill. <br/>
