Summary, etc. ABSTRACT :<br/>Statement of the Problem: This study aims to assess the Health and Sanitation Practices in selected Hospitals in Paranaque City Specifically, it seeks to assess the health and sanitation practices in selected hospitals in Paranaque City. <br/>1. What are the health and sanitation practices in selected hospital in Paranaque City? 2. How are the health and sanitation practices being implemented? 3. What is the importance of health and sanitation practices to the following: 3.1 Patients 3.2 Hospital Personnel 4. Is there a significant difference between the health and sanitation practices between the patients and hospital personnel? This was a research study conducted about the health and sanitation practices in selected hospitals in paranaque city. These was the Medical Center Paranaque and Olivares General Hospital both located at Dr. A. Santos Avenue <br/>Sucat, Paranaque City. The study was conducted on the 19th of March 2007. The respondents were the staff nurses and patients, which the total number of 32 respondents. This study aimed to determine the quality and standard health and sanitation practices being done mostly in the hospitals to improve the patience's health condition and also to protect the health care providers. It also aimed to make the researchers became more aware of the practices being implemented inside the hospital setting, the promptness in dealing the patience with proper care and maintaining cleanliness inside the hospital setting which contributed to the effectiveness of the services being rendered to the patients. This study provided the knowledge to the researchers that health and sanitation practices must always be implemented at all times in the hospital setting not only in maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities but also the mean care providers must be cleaned at all times before and after handling the patients. Medical Center Paranaque and Olivarez General Hospital both agreed.the questions that their hospitals were capable of providing good health care Services to the patience and could maintain the health and sanitation inside and outside the hospital setting. <br/>
