ABSTRACT
General Objective :This study was aimed to determine the effects of the use of the contraceptives among couples in Luksuhin, Ibaba, Alfonso Cavite. Contraceptives should be beyond family planning measures. The couples should be aware on the effects that contraceptives might bring. Enough knowledge is important before practicing birth control method. Empathy and thoughtfulness are equally important in dealing with the person's sexuality and fertility. The imposition of requirements for couples, who are about to get married, to receive counsel on family planning before having a marriage license is an issue. Experiences point to a strong relation between education and improved standard of living with contraceptive awareness and acceptance.

Methodology :The study research design was a descriptive research, and this study focused on whether the exposure of respondents leads to an increase in their awareness on the effects of contraceptive they used. The researchers conducted the study to the respondents' ages 18-40 years old who reside in Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite. The researchers used random sampling through fishbowl technique by getting the 50% of 100 couples who were contraceptive users. The researchers used survey questionnaire to the gather the needed data that serve as basis for the study.

Findings of the Study :The age distribution of couples in researcher's study which got the highest percentage was on the age bracket of 31-35. Majority of the respondents were college graduates and the majority of couples have 1-3 number of children. The researchers found out that most of the respondents were totally in favour of using contraceptives. The respondents' reasons for using contraceptives were simply because they want to give good education to their children for them to be able to have brighter future; they also came up with a reason that the family would have more time to spend with each other because of lighter responsibility. Researchers found out that couples who were using contraceptives had a perception that these might give them complications even though is for birth control.

Conclusion : In General, the perceive effect of contraceptives is to bring the family in a better life with a great future. There are significant effects of the use of contraceptives among couples in Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite. After knowing the significant effects of the use of contraceptives among couples in Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite, researchers come up with the conclusion that the couples in Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite are totally in favour of using contraceptives because they want their family to have a brighter future. Most couples in Luksuhin, Ibaba Alfonso Cavite make a good decision to use contraceptives, since it is the best choice to provide the basic needs for the family. The researchers identify the effects of contraceptives to the couples and the researchers observe that the couples who reside in Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite have knowledge about the use of contraceptives and its effects to their lives.

Recommendation :Based on the findings and conclusions derived from the study, researchers present the recommendation which state that the couples in Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite must be educated about the effects of the contraceptives that pertain to advantages and disadvantages of its use. The respondents must have intelligence about the use and effects of contraceptives by means of personal therapeutic interventions and teachings procedures of health team of Brgy. Luksuhin Ibaba Alfonso Cavite. Encourage them to continue using contraceptives. Make sure that before using contraceptives you should know first how to use it properly. Reading instructions and ask questions to the health personnel to gain more knowledge about contraceptives. Right attitude and cooperation are needed to increase the level of knowledge and awareness regarding to the effects of contraceptives.
