Summary: ABSTRACT : Objective of the Study: This study aimed to know the perceptions of mothers regarding complete immunization of their children ages 0-1 year in Barangay 5, Mendez, Cavite. Methodology:Descriptive research design was utilized in this study, under which is survey. The subject respondents are the mothers with children ages 0-1 year in Barangay 5, Mendez, Cavite. Random sampling method via lottery technique was used in obtaining the sample size. A self-report questionnaire was used in data gathering with open-ended and close-ended questions. Major Findings: The perception of mothers regarding complete immunization falls under positive perception with an average mean of 4.08. A good number of respondents' children almost completed the vaccination offered by the DOH via Expanded Program in Immunization. The Hepatitis B vaccine is the least immunization received by the respondents' children. The findings also reveal that lack of enough money is the most common reason of incomplete immunization of the respondents' children. Conclusion: 1The different considerable stimuli such as age, socio-demographic status,education and beliefs can affect the perception of the respondents either positive or negative. 2. Based on the findings, the respondents have the positive perception regarding complete immunization of their children. The barangay health workers play a significant role in disseminating information about immunization. 3. The most common vaccine received by the children's respondents is BCG. And the least vaccine received by the respondents' children is Hepatitis B vaccine. 4. And the most common reason why children's respondent does not have complete immunization is lack of enough money. Recommendation: The researchers recommend to the respondents to continue optimistic perceptions towards vaccination. The researchers suggest to the barangay health workers of Barangay 5, Mendez, Cavite to continue the good orientation to the mothers regarding immunization. Researchers also propose to the government officials of Barangay 5 in Mendez, Cavite to collaborate to the barangay health workers in encouraging the parents specifically the mothers to comply in Hepatitis B vaccination.
