What are the services extended by the Local Government Unit to San Isidro Health Center? 5. Is there a significant relationship between the level of awareness and the level of satisfaction of the Health Services of San Isidro Health Center? The proponents employed the quantitative research design. The objective of quantitative research is to develop and employ mathematical models, theories and hypotheses pertaining to natural phenomena. The process of measurement is central to quantitative research because it provides the fundamental connection between empirical observation and mathematical expression of quantitative relationships, evaluating the questionnaires accomplished by the respondents. The proponents considered the people of San Isidro, Parañaque as the respondents of this study. Certain criteria were used in choosing the respondents. They should be of legal age, and urban mothers living in San Isidro for the past two years. In order to answer the problems stated in this study, the proponents gathered information with the use of the questionnaire. The said questionnaire comprised of checklists regarding on the health services and health delivery system of the research locale. To ensure the validity of the results, the proponents personally conducted the survey. Several statistical techniques were used in this study, some of which are frequency, percentage, weighted mean and the Pearson R correlation model. The latter was used to determine the relationship between the level of awareness and level of satisfaction of the respondents on the services offered in the health center. The null hypothesis formulated was that there is no significant relationship between the awareness and satisfaction on the health services and health delivery system of San Isidro Health Center. The following were the findings of the study: 1. As to the age of the respondents most of them are in the middle aged. Most of them were married and the rest were single parents. It is also apparent from the survey that most of the respondents belonged to the marginalized sector of the society or below the poverty line. And most of them have 4-6 dependents. 2. With regards to the respondents awareness of the services of the health center, all of them are aware (with varying levels) of the services offered in the health center 3. Satisfaction wise, most of the services offered in the health center were rated good with a range of 4.5-3.51. 4. There were a couple of services that the local goverment unit extend to the health center, particularly to the health workers. Some of which are salaries, allowances, and
bonuses. In addition, the LGUs also provide fundings for the supplies of the center.Thoug h trainings and seminar were provided the health workers thinks that it is not enough. 5. Based on the computation obtained using the Pearson r correlation model, there were no significant relationship between the level of the awareness and level of satisfaction of the health services and delivery system in San Isidro This favors the acceptability of the null hypothesis. There were no significant relationship between the level of awareness and level of satisfaction of the respondents on the health services and health care delivery system of San Isidro Health Center.
