ABSTRACT
Minor Curfew is implemented in some local areas in the Philippines. Where
minors are prohibited to go outside in their house in 10pm to 5am to avoid and protect
some crimes and accidents in the street or public places. Therefore, this study aims td
share awareness or recent issues about perception to curfew law among grade 12
Humanities and Social Sciences students in the Olivarez College Tagaytay. The
researchers use the descriptive quantitative research design to collect detailed
information to describe the existing topic. The sampling technique used by the
researchers was fish bowl sampling technique in selecting the respondents. This
method divided the total sample size into four sections to determine the population in
each. The study resulted to these major findings: Majority of the respondents are 18
years old which falls under the range of minors' age, Most of the respondents are
females and reside at Alfonso, Cavite, The overall respondent's perception to curfew
laws was rated as 3.0 verbally interpreted as effective. The results pointed out that the
community officials should educate the minors the importance of complying in the
curfew law in their place of residents. With this activity, the minors may understand
and appreciate the objective of curfew law, to protect them from unwanted trouble that|
may put their life in danger.
