ABSTRACT
The study was conducted in Olivarez College Tagaytay from December
2018 to January 2019. The objectives of the study is to describe the socio-
demographic profile of the freshmen students in terms of sex, age grade and
section, identify the demographic profile in terms of grade and section, and the
respondents utilization of learning resources in Olivarez College Tagaytay.
The participants of the study were 100 students with ages 16 years old
and above from grade 11 and 12 sections namely: Chrysolite, Aries and Amber.
A questionnaire was used to gather data from the participants in frequency
count, percentage and standard deviation were used to describe the socio-
demographic profile. Four-point likert Scale was used to measure the
respondents learning resources of the students. Weighted mean were used to
determine the utilization of learning resources of the students.
Based on the result, generally, majority of the respondents were utilized in
the learning resources. In additional, Chrysolite and Grade 11 students are the
most respondents of the study.
