<br/><br/> I. ABSTRACT<br/><br/>Community policing is a policing tactic used in Tagaytay City that emphasizes building<br/>connections with locals. It involves three essential elements: establishing community alliances<br/>or Partnerships, participating in problem-solving activities, and putting organizational aspects<br/>for community policing into practice or positive interaction. This study focuses on integrating<br/>collaboration, public safety information, and community policing in a time of terror. Congress<br/>has voiced concern that the Homeland Security agency may not have the authority to stop<br/>upcoming terrorist attacks. This essay contends that the misapplication of police authority rather<br/>than a lack of it is more likely to cause the demise of the war on terror (Lyons 2018). This study<br/>used a quantitative descriptive research design. This study utilized a self-made questionnaire that<br/>underwent validity and reliability testing. The source came from the 90 respondents, derived<br/>from (60) community residents, (24) police officers, and (6) barangay officials. Slovin’s formula<br/>was used to calculate the sample size given the population size and a margin of error. By the<br/>extent of implementation of community policing, the findings of survey interpretation in<br/>barangay Asisan, barangay Zambal, and barangay Sambong were (low extent) of<br/>implementation. Lastly, it was found that there was no significant correlation between the<br/>demographic profile and the extent of implementation of community policing. This indicates that<br/>the extent of implementation of community policing was (Low Extent). The result recommends<br/>seminars and activities about community policing, and the Barangay Officials and Community<br/>Residents need full cooperation and participation in the activities that will be conducted by Police<br/>Officers. The Police Officer needs activities like medical missions, sports fest, and outreach<br/>programs to the community residents and Community service for the Barangay. The Police<br/>Officer should be able to implement a proper strategy to get the residents to agree, and the<br/>Barangay Officials should work together with the Police Officers to reduce crime in each<br/>Barangay. One of the typical crime victims is the residents of a Barangay, so the Police Officers<br/>should be able to carry out activities to have peace and harmony in each of the constituents of<br/>the barangay
