The further point of this study was to create a firm source of facts in connection with the issues about anxiety and its effect on the performance of Third year BSN in the hospital's ward area. Aller obtaining the result of this study, the rescarchers wished to share the importance
of this study to the other BS Nursing students, clinical instructors and the health care unit who are involved in this research. Methodology: In selecting the respondents of the study, researchers used stratified random sampling technique. Only the Third Year Nursing students from Olivarez College- Tagaytay Batch 2008-2009 were selected as the subject. Each subject is regular, non-transerce student who had experienced in the ward area. Permission to gather the data was granted by the subjects themselves. Mean r-scores was computed for the subject of this study. Data from the questionnaire ware computed using the Pearson Product Moment to determine the significant effect of anxiety to the students' performance in general of the whole Third-Year BS Nursing students.
General Findings: The test was considered a negligible positive correlation and was found at the r-score of 0.1 for the values of the students' general level of anxiety and their academic performance. The level of anxiety of most of the subjects scored "low" on the standardized data. General Conclusions: The results are consistent with previous researches showing that the lower the individual's anxiety level is, the efficient the student's performance can be. In order to prove whether anxiety has a significant effect on a student's performance of Olivarez College Tagaytay, self-report standardized questionnaire for BS Nursing students who had experience in the ward area was used.
Recommendations: As Third Year students are more prone to anxiety related problems. It is important for every individual to know the effects of anxiety to their performance in order to gain a clearer perspective on how to become more efficient, especially in their studics. This study can also be recommended to clinical instructors, health care unit, and to future researchers as an effective tool to develop and to further understanding on how anxiety, affects BS nursing student's performance in the hospital ward area.
