ABSTRACT
Stress is a pressure exerted on a material object. It is the big problern of every
jerson especially to those students. They are the most probably affected by stress
secause of their school woks. The study used descriptive research design where the
esearchers determined the relationship the level of stress among selected Grade 12
HUMSS students. The sampling technique used by the researchers was universal
sampling technique. This method refers to the selection of sample where not all the
people in the population have the same profitability of being included in the sample and
each one of them, the probabilfíty of being selected in unknown. Selected student from
the Grade 12 HUMSS are the respondents of the study. The researchers used frequency.
percentage and mean as statistical treatment of data. The data were all gathered and
summarized as the researchers came to the conclusions that: Majority of the respondents
age is 17 and 18 years old; Majority of the respondents are fernale. The emotional aspect
has the highest level of stress among the three aspects. In terms of personal behavior
aspect, the students need to bring the work at home; in the enotional aspect, the students
worry a lot; and in the sleeping aspect the student have trouble falling asleep. A slogan
will be using to immediately increase the awareness regarding the stress level due to its
high level. The teachers recommended to maintain the conciseness of the respondents
or it is better to improve the current condition of the students for a healthier lifestyle and
better focus on academic performance.
