RESEARCH METHODOLOGY The research methodology includes the population of the study, which refers to the respondents of the study. It also includes research design, data gatherings, procedure and the research instrument that was used to complete the study. FINDINGS The data shows the majority of the respondents are female. This may imply that most of havìng absenteeism is female seventy-two percent (72%%) than male twenty-eight percent (28%). The "Factors of Absenteeism among Senior High School Students of Olivarez College Tagaytay ". The Physical Factor 1: Our house is far from the school with the highest rate of 3.85 with the verbal interpretation of VERY OFTEN. This result from the questionnaire confirmed the expectations, which assumed that PHYSICAL FACTORS would be predictor of previous and current absenteeism is negatively related to physical factors such as academic self-perception attitudes toward teacher and school. This finding confirmed previous studies are indicating that students with high rate of absenteeism have negative view about their academic ability (Aduguzel & Karadas, 2013; Attwood & Croll, 2006; Valiente et al., 2008).
