ABSTRACT
General Objectives:
The study aims to determine the awareness of mothers at Barangay Panungyan , Mendez Cavite regarding infant feeding method. Another objective is to establish a firm source of information regarding issues about the relationship of family income and the choice of infant feeding method Afler obtaining the result of this study, the researchers would like to share the importance of the study to the multitudes of women; to the society as a whole and most especially to all our co-students.
Methodology:
In selecting the respondents of the study, researchers used random sampling technique through fishbowl technique. The gathered data were presented using frequency distribution table and making use of the percentile formula.
General Findings:
The result of the study is positive that most mothers in Brgy. Panungyan I, Mendez, Cavite are aware of the proper Infant Feeding method; In result 75% of the 89 respondents are aware that breast milk is the best infant feeding method.
General Conclusions
The result of the study concludes that most mothers in Barangay Panungyan !, Mendez, Cavite are aware that breastfeeding is the best infant feeding method.
Recommendation
The study was carried out for the benefit of all mothers and future mothers, as well as their infants. The significance of the study was conducted for the society especially the nursing mothers.
