ABSTRACT Competency-Based Learning Module is a student-centered learning approach that equips students with the resources they need to learn at their own level and select their own learning course. In order to assess whether this learning module is a successful way to learn, it is appropriate to measure the satisfaction of students in these learning modules to senior high school students especially at present where face-to-face interaction is not allowed and some with no internet connection at home rely on modules. This study aimed to determine the satisfaction of senior high school students with CBLM in Olivarez College Tagaytay. The researchers utilized a quantitative descriptive research design in their study with total respondents of 30 modular learners from different strands (ABM, STEM, HUMSS and TVL) that were selected using purposive sampling. Furthermore, the researchers used an adapted questionnaire from Llego in the Department of Education (2019). The results implied that the respondents are satisfied learning using CBLM in terms of learning objectives, learning experience, content and organization. Among the four categories, they are mostly satisfied with the learning objectives and least with organization. The researchers claimed that CBLM allows the learners to easily recognize and achieve the desired learning outcomes. The respondents only struggle with the time frame of accomplishing all their learning tasks. Hence, the researchers highly recommend module writers to review the outline of learning tasks focusing not only on kinds of assessment but also on the schedule of distribution and retrieval making it sure that the deadline is in accordance with the academic school calendar. They also recommend further orientation among teachers, students and parents on CBLM focusing on task accomplishment. Lastly, they also recommend future researchers to conduct qualitative research to gain deeper understanding of the modular students’ learning experiences as they conduct in-depth interviews.
