520 _aObjective of the Study: General Objective This study was conceptualized to identify the Preferred Use of Contraceptives on mothers ages 20-35 at Purok 1, 5, and 6 Bgy. Talon, Amadeo Cavite. Methodology: The researchers utilized a descriptive type of research in which collection of data will be used through the performance evaluation that will be answered by the family planning acceptors of artificial family planning methods. Instrument used in the study is a closed-ended questionnaire wherein the respondents were given a chance to choose answer from the given choices. Respondents indicated their answers by choosing among the given options or by stating yes or no in the space provided. Information obtained from the procedure will be analyzed and tallied accordingly. Data are analyzed using descriptive statistics: weighted mean, percentage, and rank order. Major Findings: Researchers came up with the following major findings: 1. Acceptors of artificial family planning methods fall under the 32-35 age group. 2. Acceptors are mostly High School graduates. 3. Majority of our respondents are Roman Catholics. 4. Respondents acquire information on artificial family planning method from the health center 5. Majority of choice of the respondents are pills. The other method used, include injectables. 6. Mothers are using family planning method for over two years. 7. Knowledge and attitudes are the factors that influenced the respondents in using Artificial Family Planning Method. Conclusion:Researchers concluded that respondents' knowledge toward Artificial Family Planning Methods came from the Rural Health Unit who performs an essential role in giving out information on family planning programs. The respondents' attitude toward the Artificial Family Planning Methods showed favorable outcome as expected by the researchers. The respondents viewed Artificial Family Planning Methods as a great assistance towards a better society by proper birth spacing, creating maternal and child health. Recommendations: 1. Every couple must be encouraged to take initiative for planning and spacing their family. 2. The primary factor for the success of the implementation of Artificial Family Planning Method is through proper and thorough education. 3. Health centers should intensify their campaign in the implementation of the family planning methods by conducting regular seminars, workshops and active dissemination of information. 4. Regular and consistent follow-up care should be made by people with authorities and enough knowledge about the matter. 5. Further research on this study should be made.
