521 _aABSTRACT COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new strain of Coronavirus. 'CO' stands for corona, 'Vi' for virtues, and 'D' for disease. Formerly, it was referred to as "2019" novel Coranavirus" or "2019-nCoV". The COVID-19 virus is a new virus linked to the same family or viruses as severe acute stated that the strategies of the preventive measure of COVID-19 included border closure, reduction in nonessential services, and forbidding crowd gathering to reduce person-to-person contacts. In addition, self-imposed prevention, such as social distancing, hand washng, and face mask usage, were implemented to various extents across affected areas. The respondents that were currently enrolled at Olivares College-tagaytay were grouped according to their demographic profile. In this study, the researcher used. A one way ANOVA revealed that there were significant differences in practices on self-preventive measures when grouped according to their profile. Based on the result, most of the respondents regularly followed the use of personal protective equipment but lacked eagerness in monitoring their health and following the right diet. With that, the researchers wanted to suggest the use of ICT material that provides more accurate information that comes from reliable sources. This built the gap between massively unfiltered news to more credible information.
