520 _aThis unit deals with the skills and knowledge required for the course Statistics and Probability that the students can apply in the field of engineering, sciences, business economics, and others. The modules for Statistics and Probability consist of six (6) Performance Standards. Each standard contains learning activities for both knowledge and skills, supported with information sheets, quizzes, and performances tasks gathered from different sources. We also have included some real-life applications which aim to show how the topics they learn are applicable to their daily lives. Before you perform the manual exercises, read the information/activity sheets and answer the self-activities provided to confirm to yourself and to your instructor that you are equipped with knowledge necessary to perform the skills portion of the particular learning outcomes. This module was designed to provide you with fun and meaningful opportunities for guided and independent learning at your own pace and time. You will be enabled to process the contents of the learning resource while being an active learner. Your academic success lies in you own hands!
